| 2010 Docent Training Classes |

| Please join us in learning about Pasadena’s unique history and architecture while training to share your knowledge with others during our many volunteer docent opportunities throughout the year. |

The 2010 Docent Training classes will take place on:
January 12th, 19th, 30th and on February 6th. |
| |
| Each of the 4 sessions will run approximately 3 hours and focus on the following: |
| |
| • The history of Pasadena Heritage |
| • Pasadena’s rich architectural history |
| • Docent training, protocol and opportunities |
| • Our upcoming Spring Home Tour |
| • Neighborhood Walking Tours |
| • The Old Pasadena Walking Tour |
| |
| Trainees will be instructed by Pasadena Heritage staff members as well as expert guest speakers. Slide presentations, hand-out materials and walking tours through significant neighborhoods will be included as part of the training. |

| A $20 fee will be required in order to cover the cost of materials. |
| |
| No previous docent experience is required. Upon completion of training, a commitment of fifteen volunteer hours is requested, and graduates will have first choice of assignments for upcoming tours. |
