Pasadena’s Annual Walktober

Walktober Pasadena is a month-long celebration of walking, bringing together tours, walks, and programs throughout the city that invite participants to explore Pasadena’s history, architecture, neighborhoods, and landscapes on foot. From historic districts and architectural landmarks to lesser-known places and stories, Walktober offers an opportunity to see the city in a different way and learn more about the places that make Pasadena unique.

Pasadena Heritage is participating this year with two tours of Old Pasadena on October 25.

The Old Pasadena South Tour explores the history of Dayton Street, early Black-owned businesses, and other stories that shaped this part of the district.

The Old Pasadena North Tour looks at the historic alleyways, buildings, and preservation efforts that helped establish Old Pasadena as one of Pasadena’s most significant historic districts.

These tours are just two of the many opportunities taking place throughout the month. We encourage you to explore the full Walktober schedule and join us in getting out and walking Pasadena.
