Honoring Our Founders: An Evening at Castle Green

On Saturday, July 11, 2026, we will gather at Castle Green to honor the visionaries who launched Pasadena’s modern preservation movement and to formally begin our 50th Anniversary year.

This event will recognize Claire Bogaard, William W. Ellinger III, Katie Harp McLane, and James Marrin whose advocacy helped preserve many of Pasadena’s most treasured places.

This evening is both a tribute and a forward-looking investment. Proceeds directly support Pasadena Heritage’s work in advocacy, education, and preservation—protecting the architectural legacy that defines Pasadena’s character.

Craftsman Week

This beloved annual tradition returns October 11-18, 2026, celebrating the enduring beauty, craftsmanship, and cultural legacy of the Arts and Crafts movement in Pasadena and beyond. Through a thoughtfully curated series of interior tours, walking tours, lectures, exhibitions, and hands-on craft demonstrations, the week invites the public to experience historic architecture and traditional artistry in meaningful and inspiring ways.

In 2025, Craftsman Week welcomed more than 1,200 visitors from across the region, bringing together homeowners, designers, preservationists, artists, students, and families in a shared appreciation for craftsmanship and place.
