Led by Rose Bowl docents, you will move through spaces most people never see, including the original 1922 locker rooms, press box, broadcast center, and out onto the field itself. It’s equal parts architecture, infrastructure, and lived history.
Spend Father’s Day at the Rose Bowl Stadium, a piece of Pasadena’s civic history that’s been continuously in use since 1922. Designed by Myron Hunt, the building has evolved over the decades, shaped by changing needs, careful upgrades, and a long tradition of stewardship that’s kept it both relevant and remarkably intact.
This tour is a look at the Rose Bowl as a place, how it works, how it’s changed, and what’s taken place there along the way.
